FRANCHISE SERVICES

The founder of AmPay has extensive experience with franchised businesses, including restaurant and retail. Having owned a group of franchise restaurants and even an iconic restaurant in his hometown, he learned very quickly that the biggest risks for franchise owners are rising wages and cost of goods, whether it be hamburger meat or men's socks.  Our expertise with several different national brands pays off for owners of  retail, QSR, full service and coffee franchise owners all over the United States, including fashion, IT, technology, food, education, leisure and services.

Franchises  require significant investment and our job is to help you minimize costs and maximize profits, no matter what you are selling. We can help you get a handle on your wages and cost of goods by providing professional payroll and accounting services at affordable rates, freeing you to run your business and providing you with information you can use to run it even better.

With more than 25 years’ experience we provide essential tax, audit, accounting and payroll services to a growing roster of franchise clients. But as importantly, we take an agile approach to accounting services for franchises that service, recognizing that the need for other critical services can help them make sound business and financial decisions, and put them on the road to achieving their goals and objectives.

Our accounting expertise, our inside knowledge of franchising and business management and our ability to respond very quickly to the needs of our clients all over the United States gives us an edge over all our competitors. Our payroll professionals understand what precisely you require to keep your business functioning financially. By letting us handle the details of your payroll, tax reporting and other related accounting services, we can help you find ways to operate your business more efficiently without losing quality or affecting the customer experience.  Having "been there and done that" we know restaurant owners -- particularly franchise owners -- do not have a lot of free time.

A piece of conventional wisdom about restaurants, according to Forbes Magazine, is that most of them close in the first year. An American Express commercial even warned that 90 percent failed in the first year. This is, to put it simply, false. It is true that success in the restaurant industry isn’t easy. But success can be very rewarding. And we can help.

According to Forbes Magazine, "For a long time this question has been handled with anecdote or small spotty datasets. But two economists decided to settle this decisively in 2014 using BLS data that covers 98 percent of U.S. businesses, the QCEW dataset. They tracked single-establishment restaurants from 1992 to 2011, and the study overall is very careful and well-done.

"What they find is that only 17 percent of restaurants close in the first year, not 90 percent. This is in fact a lower failure rate than other service providing businesses, where 19 percent fail in the first year. For comparison, they find that 21 percent of offices of real estate agents and brokers fail in the first year, and the number is 19 percent for both landscapers and automotive repair. The failure rate for full-service restaurants is the same as the failure rate for insurance agencies and brokerages."

Let us help you be among the 83 percent who succeed.
